Downtown Portland is taking back the streets!

We had a great time at the Ankeny Plaza ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday!  A huge thanks to the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT), Commissioner Steve Novick, Helen Ying President of the Old Town Chinatown Community Association & James Silviano President of the Ankeny Alley Association.  The new plaza epitomizes PBOT’s goal of connecting our streets and celebrating our community!  Come relax in the newly expanded outdoor seating area for Voodoo Doughnut & other surrounding businesses on SW 3rd ave between East Burnside and Ash street.

You can help!

This August, both Portland locations will be selling the “Have a Heart” doughnut. A part of the proceeds will go towards Open Hearts Open Minds, an amazing prison play and performing arts program. Their mission is to nurture inner transformation through dialogue, silence, education and the arts, in order to promote peace, love and understanding.
