Here are the answers to the questions you've all been wondering about.
Don't see it here? Ask the Voodoo Spirits at info@voodoodoughnut.com
Do you deliver?
We deliver 7 days a week in the morning. Call us to make arrangements for local deliveries to your business or office. Unfortunately, we cannot ship doughnuts out of state. Air pressure is very bad for doughnuts. Why don't you just fly yourself in for the complete Voodoo Doughnut experience?
Do you plan on opening other stores?
The Voodoo Spirits are telling us to look for another Voodoo to open in 2007.
When are you open?
We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We may just have the to-go window open sometimes. Calling ahead never hurts to check on availability. Call way ahead and you could actually order what you want and have it waiting for you.
Are your weddings legal?
Absolutely, 100% legal, unless you don't want them to be. The service is performed by ordained ministers beneath the holy doughnut and a velvet painting of Isaac Hayes. It doesn't get more legal than that!
How can I book my act at Club Doughnut?
We encourage local acts of both musical and theatrical nature to come by the shop rather than send a barage of press crap to get a gig. The Voodoo Spirits of the shop ask for acts on the bizarre side of nature rather than that "cool" rock band or DJ. Remember that this is a doughnut shop and not rock club, so come prepared for your gig. Bands that are booked are 1 band only. There are no opening bands, multiple bands or extra sit in musicians. 1 Hour, 1 Band, 1 Gig. No whiny rockers or divas will be tolerated. Check out the music section on our myspace page for more details.
Are your Swahili Lessons on Monday nights real?
Yes. They are taught by our very own Jay Boss Rubin and can be started at any time. Just stop by Mondays at 9pm. Sometimes Jay is working in Tanzania, so call for details to make sure that lessons are on schedule. Hamna Noma!
How much do your doughnuts cost?
Doughnuts cost between 85¢ and $4.95. They are hand made and come in all shapes and sizes and full of suprises. They are worth every penny.
Where can I see the documentary made about Voodoo Doughnut?
The documentary short about Voodoo Doughnut is called Gimme Doughnut and more information including scheduled screenings can be found at GimmeDoughnut.com
Can you make special order, custom, doughnuts?
Yes we do. Give us a call.
